2021 四旬期退省 - A New Beginning
The theme for the Lenten Retreat is "A New Beginning." The video starts with individual contemplation - walking, reading, doing the labyrinth alone, and moves to collective study – talks by retreat master Fr Tommy Murphy, and finally to collective contemplation - meditating and worshipping together.
The song accompanying the video is called, incidentally, "Song for a New Beginning".
2021 四旬期退省 - A Community of Love
Called "A Community of Love" the video explores the idea of how we respond to God’s love in serving the community. Snapshots of food sharing bring back memories of good meals together. Not only the “daily bread” we ask for every time we say the Lord’s Prayer, our Father fed our souls too through the talks of Fr Tommy Murphy, our retreat master. We felt the caring love from the service of the retreat working team through their setting up of a bookstore, room arrangements and provision of Eucharistic Adoration. Mother Teresa’s wisdom guides us through this video, accompanied by songs from Taizé.
